A very cute little spot in Cathcart, offering delicious sandwiches, soups, and a variety of brunch options. We tried the veggie haggis, Moroccan sandwich, and spicy lentil soup — all of which were incredibly tasty. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was fantastic with banging tunes on. Highly recommend!
Had a lovely weekend lunch here! Food was delicious and they had a wonderful selection of cakes as well. A very warm atmosphere and friendly service with some lovely touches. Will definitely be back!
I love this place. Not been for ages and was great to be back. Lovely big portions and all three of us felt we’d picked the best thing off the menu roast on toast for me hit the spot, my dad’s Mediterranean chicken mac n cheese toastie was amazing and my mum loved her tomato and lentil soup. We managed to squeeze in some cake and brownie (best brownies in Glasgow) with coffee. 10/10. Just lovely people creating a lovely space with even lovelier food and cakes
Such good food. Really so yummy and amazing coffee. The server was so kind and warm, and the vibe of the cafe was wonderful. I might add too, the playlist was impeccable!
My wife and I have just moved upstairs from this cafe and it's instantly become our weekend treat. Early morning walks with a screaming baby are made much more palatable knowing that we're going to be rewarded with literally the best toasted sandwiches I've ever tasted. The best bit is the bread. I don't know how they manage to toast it but somehow keep it from being overly crunchy. And that's before we get to the actual ingredients and portion sizes - both amazing. I'm going to stop going on about their sandwiches now as I feel a bit like Ross Geller when he's explaining why Monica's Thanksgiving leftover sandwich is so good. Rest assured though that, much like Ross, I too would be signed off from work with anger issues if anyone dared try and eat the sandwich these folks have made me. If you're in the area or even just passing by I would 100% recommend.
Such a delightful evening at tonight's supper club. Proper tasty food, great service and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be back again and the journey from Errol was certainly worth it. Daniel doesn't get it. Don't be like Daniel.
My wife and I love coming to Soup's On, though it's a bit of a trek for us. Lovely little space, with gentle (and excellent choice in) music, incredibly good food, and wonderful people running it. The CBLT is absolutely worth trying if you haven't yet, but to be honest everything is a winner. Portion sizes are pretty hefty though, so come on a completely empty stomach!!
Never had a bad meal here. Everything is amazing. Family goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, like an extension of their home both in cooking and atmosphere. So glad it's on our doorstep and will be back very soon. You're doing fantastic, keep knocking out those amazing sarnies!!
